Today marks the six-year anniversary of Revive Music Group (formerly Revive Da Live). Looking back on the past six years reveals a story of growth (both company-wide and community-wide) and success, but more than any of that, an unwavering devotion to the amazing and talented musicians that make our community vibrant and inspired the very creation of Revive. What began as a local effort to support Boston musicians has evolved into a worldwide experience. Revive Music is an anthem in the live music scene where we have become known for our advocacy dedicated to the unique livelihood musicians lead through a number of different outlets including our live shows and our online journal The Revivalist.
As we look forward into the coming year, the shows, events, and programs we have on the horizon far exceeds what any of us could have planned for, but is truly a testament to the hard work put in on the daily by the Revive Music staff, writers, and community. Moreover, it is also a testament to how far our musical community has grown and changed throughout the past few years. Amazingly talented artists continue to create music with substance and purpose, something of a commodity considering the overwhelming lack of quality we see being featured today. As Revive Music grows in the years to come, we invite you to join us in the community by experiencing our live events in person with Revive Music Presents, reading the history and back stories online at The Revivalist, and getting involved yourself through our jam sessions at Zinc Bar.
