Alecia Chakour + More at Union Pool
The Alecia Chakour Band will be headlining a show tonight at Union Pool in Brooklyn that is bringing together musicians representing many of music collectives and bands in New York. “What makes this night extra exciting is that the bands feature representatives from many of the “Gangs of New York”: Royal Family Records, Daptone Records, The Royal Potato Family, folks from David Byrne’s band, TV On the Radio, Yellowbirds, and many more,” Chakour explains.
